any of you guys got an idea on ways to get a good recruitment drive going? See we only have about 10 cadets coming every week and we definitely want a lot more. any ideas?

Car wash, look for fairs to set up a booth at, volunteer for something so people can see you at work. etc.

do different fund raiser things, try different ways to promote your name...schools, camps, etc

Yeah, anything you can do for the community will greatly help. For any community activity you hear of try and get a hold of them and offer your services. I believe that our best recruitment is during the winston-salem Air Show. (Just so the CAP cadets know, we'd appreciate any help from those who can make it.) It gives the community a chance to see some of what we do. For some seeing us out there is enough to make them want to join. And for the next few weeks is when they straggle in wanting to know more. After each Air Show we get a few to join. Some join and then quiet a few weeks later or show up every now and then.

definitely community work. We do drill shows in the mall and stuff

always, always, get involved in everything and anything oyu can...no matter how stupid or boring it may be. got to elementary schools/jr high school/high school at a fair or something, get the kids to come and get interested. go to sporting events (baseball games, soccer, football), you will mostly recruite men so go to where you will find the most men. acouple girls will join here and there, like me, but most of the time (especially with other friends) they won't talk to you, just alittle fact.

if you want to get alot of girls wear your class a's (if you have them) Chicks dig guys in uniform

10 a week?! We only have like 6 cadets total!!!

15-20 a week but we have about 30 on are roster.

We have about 20 cadets that are members,but we only have like 7-10 come.
