Post; How will we handle China if they go against us?

China is the obstacle of taking care of north korea. China must choose a side. Stay neutral and do nothing, continually aid north korea, or side with the Western. If China threatens us what will we do? Will we withdrawn or will we confront them once and for all. Many fear about having a war with China. yet China continually grows in military and remains unchecked. How will you fight against the Chinese in War.

China, as an independent nation, has its right to build a strong military and choose its own side in global political conflict. Maybe some war-thirsty people like you want to provoke a war with China simpily because China does not want to stand together with U.S, than so be it, and good luck with that.

Chinese leaders have stated many times that their primary focus right now is to continue let China's economy grow and also ease the unfair distribution of social wealth. It has no intention of fighting a war with any body else. That is why the Chinese is working so hard in the Six-party talk to try to solve this problem peacefully.

Also, the PLA are more likely pre-occupied with updating it's CT capabilities. They are hosting the Olympics in 3 years.

umm warmachine the man asked a theoretical question and you kind of kicked him in the nuts, yeaaaa, and that kind of hurts. "war-thirsty people like you" funny how your name is "WAR"machine and he is the war-thirsty one hmm. well in that case why don't i just say that you are a pyschotic, biased, hypocritic, left wing nut. ?????

On topic now if you please senor "WAR" machine. China does continually grow but i do not think that they would want to risk any type of war with us, considering that would probably begin world war 3 which would kind of suck for about, ohh say, 98% of the world's population. If i had to give an answer though i would say that they would remain neutral in any type of conflict among America and North Korea.

During the Culture Revolution in China there was a lot of upheaval and change mainly for the worse. During this time the Chinese did not interrupt either the food or water going into Hong Kong. Now if they can keep these sorts of agreements under such pressure, then I would not lose to much sleep over what they might do in the future. As China grows so do the expectations of her people and they would not want a war any more than any one else.

He asked a rhetorical question. My goodness folks. Answer the question and try at the very least to keep some form of decorum. Bashing on a person or on a country is uncalled for. As much as I love the US and detest certain other countries you have not seen me bash on them.

On Topic: I think that China will maintain the status quo. If they attempt to make a move against any country in a military manner then the world at large (well most of it) will raise a cry. I don't think China wants that.

There are no country vs. country topics allowed. A while ago, the mods kept one thread like this open as an experiment. In the end, nothing but flaming results from a country vs. country thread.
