Post; How will I do?

My high school does not have a JROTC but a school in the next town does. I am probably going to join up with them. The only thing is that I have no experience with this kind of thing, except for marching band. So from what you have seen with others that just come in how do they do? Do they do pretty good or are they mostly just pathetic. I know it will vary from case to case but I still want to hear what some of you guys think.

usually they do pretty good, the drill team anyway. some platoons just suck at it (like mine, they're always fooling around )

It usually depends on the type of person and your attitude!
