| Tirones | Post; how much area can a special forces unit coverhi i am an australian universtiy student and am currently working on an assignment about the military. i need to find out how fast or how much area a special forces unit from any branch of the military can cover per hour or per day. i also need to know how much this will vary between flat terrain and mountainous terrain. any information would be greatly appreciated. references would also be appreciated. thanks |

| Buttercup ![]() | What do you mean by "cover?" Anyway, it is all METT-TC (Mission, Enemy, Time, Terrain, Troops available, and Civilian) dependent, so I don't believe that it is even possible to answer your question (not that I am qualified to do so anyway

| The fire is everything... ![]() | Difficult (if not impossible) question there Lisa. What kind of Special Forces are you talking about, and by "cover" do you mean how long can a SF unit walk pr hour/day??? You need to be a bit more specific, or else it's difficult for us to help.. |
