Ah yes, you know them by heart!
When they're getting comfortable on your feet, they're on the verge of breaking up and you'd better get ready for a new pair...

The good old fashioned way is more than good enough, but it still requires generous amounts of lubrication and shine in order to soften and preserve them.

Hmm, I must have marched through my 7th. pair of boots by now.

I have two pair of combat boots for 4 Years now and still got no problems but they are beginning to lose their sole so i'll take them to a shoemaker to get a new sole, that way i'm avoiding to wear in new shoes

Our boots were likely to be made by the lowest bidder. After a few months the leather started to wear away big time.
