Hizbollah rockets rain on northern Israel info


NAHARIYA, Israel (Reuters) - Hizbollah guerrillas from Lebanon fired barrages of rockets into nearly 20 towns across northern Israel on Thursday, killing one civilian and wounding 42 others in their heaviest bombardment in a decade.

Everybody seems to be going along the line that Israel will defeat Hizbollah. If we watch the mess that has been made in Afghanistan and Iraq, by a coalition of the world's most powerful armies, this can be no certainty. An international force also cannot succeed, if it is seen not to be honest. At the moment we are far from obtaining this target.

How about the USA supporting the UN for a change? Dialoge may be boring, but is less deadly than unnecessary wars.
