| Tribuni Angusticlavii | Post; Help with surround sound systemSo I just bought an 22" LCD HDTV. I wanna play my xbox on it using my surround sound system. Problem being the receiver on my system is older and doesn't have HD component hook-ups (the purple and green ones) Anyone know a way around this?

| The fire is everything... ![]() | Do you have a picture of the cables? I don't have an Xbox.. I'm pretty sure it's possible to get some kind of audio converters for this. |

| Tribunus Laticlavius | What I did was I connected the component cables to my tv and just the audio cords to the surround sound, it's more buttons to press when I want to turn it on, but it works just fine.
