Hello World info

Hello, I found this site quite by accident, I guess this is serendipity. I was originally looking for a quote from Wellington that was about 5 hours ago, I have been totally stuck mesmorized by the forums and have forgotten why I wanted the quote in the first place. Oh yes, I am a Military Historian and calligrapher working on a project that required the said quote!!!!!!!!!!!!
My name is Roi (Roy). Served 12 happy years with the british army and now spend all my time with my head in Military History books, or creating breathtaking works of calligraphic art. My current girlfriend thinks my brain probably resembles the contents of a tube of cam cream (Mmmmm) She may just be right

Welcome Roister2. You know girlfriends/wives, they just don't understand the important things.

“War is an ugly thing but not the ugliest of things; the decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feelings which thinks that nothing is worth war is much worse.”
—John Stuart Mill
