| Tirones | Post; Hello, newbie here seeking helpHello, My name is Emily and I am a Navy wife of 19 years. My high school reunion is at the end of this summer and since I am the only one in our class married to active duty (he is in Qatar - last deployment!) I have been asked to do the recognition of the active duty and veterans in our class. I wanted to start it with something poignant and respectful. Can you give me any suggestions or places to look that would have something like this? I have been trying to find a poem or short essay - but so far I haven't found anything I like. I would appreciate any help you care to give. Thanks! |

| Tribunus Laticlavius | Welcome, ma'am. Thank your husband for me for his service. Will this poem do for the recognition? http://www.palletmastersworkshop.com/military.html

| Nuclear Duck Hunter ![]() | Welcome and say hello to your Hero away from home. What can you say about a soldier? I'm sure you can find a website with some appropriate words but I can't see much difference in us and the kid next door except that we were there when needed.
