I have Asperger's Syndrome.... Can I join the US military

I have wanted to join up since I was little be in spec ops and all that stuff. But I have Asperger's Syndrome... Can I still join?

You are in a very difficult situation here... your best bet just like any is to talk to a recruiter about enlisting. they have all the information you need, if they find u eligable, once the paperwork is filled out, they will send you to take an asvab test and and physical, if you pass that you should be good to go, but there are certain requirements that you will need, as will the recruiters...the biggest thing... make sure everything is on there, medical esspecially...hope this helps
 
I would think that the easy answer to this is NO they would not take you. Having read up what the symptoms are then they would not be good on a battlefield
