Post; Happy Saint Barbara's Day!

I wish a happy Saint Barbara Celebration to all Redlegs all around the World!

Today, December 4, is the greatest day of all for us Redlegs.
The Saint Barbara celebration has been a tradition for the artillery since about 1400.

You can read more about the Legend here:
http://sill-www.army.mil/pao/pabarbar.htm
And more here: ) (In Norwegian....)
http://www.artilleri.com/Santa%20barbara.htm

But I don't have time to write more now, I'm off to the celebration at my camp.

As Napoleon once said: "The Fire is Everything, the rest Nothing...."

Just keep your ears open for any arty going off, I'll bet you that'll be 'im.

Yeah, I guess they do got patron saints for everything. But as far as I'm concerned, I've only got one patron saint: General George S. Patton Jr.

Very good party!
Tired today....

4 hours long dinner, and a lot of other stuff happening the whole day and evening...

I'm glad it's 1 year until next time, I need to rest.....
