Assuming, (yes all I know about that assumin' stuff) you wanna be a helicopter pilot as a W3. Noble endeavor. After 34 years, there is no better job in the Army, than being a Warrant Officer.
Warrant Officers had the motto "The Quiet Professionals" before the SF commnity adopted it. Talked to your recruiter about joining the army specifically to go to flight school. {also known as high school to flight school}
