Well since you posted this in the political forum and not the jokes section I have a few questions for you:

1) Isn't any taxation just "redistribution of wealth"?

2) Listening to McCain's speeches today apparently "We are in two wars, we need more Marines, Soldiers etc. etc.", jobs need to be created which will by the sounds of it be done by building power plants "wind, solar, nuclear, coal and tidal" to name the often repeated mantra.
With frozen credit in the private sector, a nation in debt up to its armpits and all the promises to give "tax cuts" where is the money coming from to pay for this?

You are probably in a position to tell us roughly what will it cost for just a modest 1-5% increase in defence personnel (pay, equipment, training etc.).

3) Wasn't it McCain in 2000 who stated that the wealthy can afford to pay higher taxes which oddly enough is almost identical to Obama's current tax plan?
