Welcome to the forums Wendy.

The viking ship is the insignia of the "Telemark Battalion".

You can find some info on them in English here:
(not all of that info is 100% accurate by the way..... )

Thanks for you welcome notes. Have tried the sites that Redleg sent but no joy. I know they were Telemark Batalion but the insinia was Black with a kind of shield in white and the ship was white. All the lads on the video seemed to have them. What does Telemark mean?
Cheers Wendy

Telemark is just a county in Norway, where the Battalion originates from.

Thanks. Found it. Looks quite a big area. Mt G.G.G.G.Grandfather came from Kopervik on the coast. Have been trying to find my way round this site and came across profiles. Seems I have changed into a male! How do I remedy this slight mistake? Apart from my first smilie how do I put them on replies etc.
