The Maus was real, 2 prototypes were built and than the war ended.

Only about 8 mph, and it's not that the war ended that it wasn't used. The Maus was too heavy for its own good. No bridge could support it. One of the books I have calls it a "barely mobile pillbox"

But they could try to protect Berlin or something using this tanks in the city no ?

Then it really wouldn't be a tank but a pillbox or gun emplacement. Would be far cheaper and just as effective to stick an 88 in a pillbox.
