Post; General Dynamics, BAE Seek Orders

Washington Post
November 9, 2007
Pg. D4

General Dynamics and BAE Systems, the largest makers of armored vehicles for the military, want the Pentagon to order more blast-resistant trucks by December to avoid production shutdowns. The Mine-Resistant, Ambush-Protected vehicle program is the Iraq war's fastest-growing procurement effort. The companies need lead time to order armor steel and other parts.
