About FNG

Former enlisted Army Guardsman, Active Duty Officer, and now inactive Reservist here. I guess that means I've been every component of the US Army, and darn near every branch (enlisted SC/OD/IN, commissioned ADA/FA hybrid, now some kind of PA guy on the books). Found the forum when I tried to settle an argument with a peer about who first said "We sleep soundly at night because rough men stand ready to do violence on those who'd harm us," which apparently you guys have discussed at length. Maybe I'll stick around, check things out. The screenname's based on the electrical safe switch from the Bradley and a few other vehicles. Great to be here.
