Well guys, with embarrasment showing on my face, I thought I'd share this new one on the political spectrum.
Holland is about to have it's first political party for pedophiles. The NVD (stands for for Empathy, Liberty and Diversity) will be founded coming wednesday and there isn't anything to be done against it. One of the founders, Ad van de Berg (62) reckons that raising children also means getting them acquinted with sex. Prohibiting this will only make them more vulnerable, according to van de Berg.

They claim that they won't be an one-issue political party, other points on their agenda are:
* abolishment of the cabinet (= PM and his secretaries/ ministers)
* abolishment of the House of Lords
* a chosen PM, and not a PM chosen by a politcal party with the most votes.
* legalization of soft and hard drugs
* allowing nudity in public
* life long jailsentence when convicted twice for murder.

Is it me guys, or has the world gone insane?

Well I dont see the pedophile part, but his views are certainly bizarre. About the last point, what is the current sentence for murder? In most western countries its life imprisonment on the FIRST conviction for premediated murder.

Dont be too worried, I doubt he'll go far, besides every court needs its court's fool.

The sentence for murder (which is automatically premeditated) used to get you 20 years. But each year the courts are breaking the records for life imprisonments. You can safely say that the hippies have retired and a new breed of judges are stepping in.

can we say thank Christ on that one?

Anyway, a pedophile party... I just can't believe it. It's things like this that go on in politics that causes a great unsettling feeling in me. It demonstrates a distinct lack of sense and morals within our leadership around the world.

This new so-called "party" appear to be more of a interest group rather than a legitimate Political party. I've seen these type of parties appear quite subsequently. Since most Western Nations allow multi-party elections, this is legal regardless if it is morally unethical. And because some of their views are indeed unethical and violates some of the universal norms shared by most nations around the world, these parties remain relatively small and insignificant.

I know this and that makes for some relief. But I have a hard time that there is a group (today they become official) of older men, that promote thing that are currently illegal. As long as they are not caught in the act, they can say this.... but still.
How can as 62 year old say that it is also for the benefit for the child to have sex at an earlier age? Even if this is true (and the signs I saw at school pointed in that direction) where does this guy get the vanity to think a 12 year old is thinking of him to learn this?

Just like Pauline Hanson's One Nation party in Australia (it was short lived), but far more offensive and morally reprehensible. Membership in the party should mean instant imprisonment (oh there I go sounding like Stalin again).

Hey, if it were America, I'd say let the silly bastards organize. Then you have a nice list of names of people to keep a really really close watch on. Hand their names over to Christian extremists and you might not even have to wait for them to get to prison before they get killed. (Referring to the groups of inmates in American prisons that routinely kill "the really sick/bad ones" and Pedofiles are their favorite target.)

It's called "North American Man/Boy Love Association" (NAMBLA) if you're interested. They have a street address in, wait for it, San Fransisco! Don't for a moment think that the US is immune from such sickos.
