Just wondering about some of the nicknames you and your friends refer to your CO as (behind their back of course). For instance I know a SPC who refers to a SSG as 'hornball'. And yeah don't ask, but from knowing both of those let's just say nothing could fit the SSG better than hornball. lol

Had a company commander we called "Captain America" because of his motivational speeches. Had another we called The Italian Stallion because he was Italian and about the size of a amtrac.
Had a Platoon Commander we called the Navigator he couldn't read a map.
Had another 2nd John we called Hero cause he was always doing stupid stuff in training that would have got the platoon waxed in a real fight.

We had a Company XO we called the Smurf because he was about 5 foot nothing.His radio operator was a small PFC about the same size he was the LAWN GNOME.

Had a Regimental CO who I really loved his favorite line was "You tell those Pogue SOB's the man with the Silver Chickens on his collar said you could."
I called him SIR.
