Post; Eaters of the Dead - Michael Crichton

This is basically Michael Crichton's take on Beowulf but it's a great read as it features some of the fiercest fighters the world has ever seen and it's pretty heavy on the Norse mythology which military people should read at some point.
I guess Vikings count as military. One could think of them as the Marines of ancient times.
