| The fire is everything...  | Post; Doom - The MovieHere's some interesting information for all of you Doom fans out there.. (Me included....) Doom - The Movie, have gone into pre-production 30th August. http://filmforce.ign.com/articles/543/543289p1.html The Rock will not play the central role, but he may star in the film. (I don't know if that's good or bad news..  )http://www.eurogamer.net/article.php?article_id=56323 The movie will not be based on any of the Doom games, but on the Doom universe itself.. It could easily end up as another turkey, but it could also be quite cool..  |

| The fire is everything... | the first Doom movie trailer has been released... http://www.apple.com/trailers/universal/doom/ I can recognize a couple of creatures from the first Doom games, but other than that it doesn't seem to follow the story of the original game.. | Optio | Its Doom afterall...yeah well Doom is all about hell, demons and rock'n roll oh and kicking the demons asses, this is just another movie made out of a game and again its nothing like the game was like another bad example Alien vs Predator  oh well, got to see it anyway. |

| The fire is everything... | New theatrical trailer released..  http://movies.yahoo.com/feature/doom.html And now I'm definitely sure that I'm going to see the movie (even if it looks like a real turkey): They have included my (and most others) favorite weapon from the Doom games: the Chainsaw...  It's also interesting to see the FPS (First person shooter) perspective in some of the scenes, and a couple of creatures from Doom 3 can be found in that trailer as well.. |
