I don't think I'd have much bother in finding several million troops around the world that would disagree with you on that. As far as the rest goes I would change the policy to a "don't flaunt it, don't care" one. We are more often treacherous through weakness than through calculation. ~Francois De La Rochefoucauld

Spike, I wouldn't give a **** if the whole WORLD disagreed with me on that... It's an opinion, therefore it doesn't require a source... If you disagree with me, please post a source to prove me wrong. Monty, I'm sorry, I ignored the second statement in your post... I agree with it... As long as they're not engaging in PDA, who the hell cares? Honestly... It's nobody's business. Chukpike... I appreciate you waiting until I make a reference to it before making your crude and again unnecessary jokes.

Once again I don't think you can just assume that homosexuality and combat ability were contradictory. I suppose it is a bit like saying a man will fight to death for his family, in this case his partner was his family. Perhaps the culture is just different today. Personally, I don't think that men living together in groups for extended periods or homosexuality is 'normal' for a human being so perhaps it isn't surprising they can go together. Quote:

Just curious, how many of you manly heterosexuals have gotten a blow job? That Sodomy under the UCMJ. You are in the same sick perverted camp as the malicious homosexuals. What exactly is the problem with homosexuals serving in the military? On a good day, they might make up 1% or less of the force. Wow, that will really lead to a fifth column in the military. One "PERVERT" in a company is hardly going to break morale. You train to standard. If a soldier can do his assigned duties competently, qualify with his assigned weapons, and meet the physical standards, stay out of trouble, then as a Commander I'd pat him on the back. To think that homosexuals will prey on the heterosexuals and worse convert them is shear lunacy. And as far as the united States goes, it's coming. Might be a year or ten years. But homosexuals are going to be allowed to serve openly in the military. And I know a lesbian MP officer who could kick 99.9% of your asses in a fair fight. She could knock out Men's push ups all day long. I'd gladly have her in a fight covering my ass. |

And the second part of your answer once again shows the worth of your opinion on this matter. You don't give a damn about the rights millions of real men who would have to suffer the indignity of serving with these creepy aids ridden perverts. As for your "Different not weak", well,... I say that it is their very weakness that makes them different. Quote:

senojekips is funny. It's like a time warp. There are gay men in the Australian Infantry who are good soldiers and no one has a problem with them. They cop jokes about it from their mates, just like red heads do. I'd say Infantry is a damn sight more manly and soldierly than being a stoker, right seno? |
