That's not what I asked, is it? I asked you if you would consider homosexuals some sort of criminal. Because if you think it's so wrong, there should obviously be laws against it like other "morally wrong" acts, right?

Completely moot point... There is absolutely no sexual tension between a homosexual male and a heterosexual female. That was TOTALLY irrelevant.

If Mark Twain had said either of those things, I would've quoted him. Jesus... (No pun intended).
Nope ain't buyin that schitk at all . Although the tactics are typical of you. You started throwin out scripture after religion was brought up to add some sort of creedence to your argument. Now your in retrograde.

The bible is like any book. it can be interperted as the reader wishes. So your verses really were non starters to begin with.

Aaaa. Hello Rob, that is what the topic deals with. Congress made it a law that homosexuals could not serve in the military. (It is illegal). The President in an effrot to keep it from being enforced came up with Don't Ask, Don't Tell.

Try to keep up, will you?

This is just too perfect...I second what Chukpike said.

I put that in there to make a point that I do not "hate" all gays, I am not a friggin' Nazi here. I don't agree with their lifestyle being thrown at the rest of us though. Do. Not. Agree.

I hate the idea of being stuck (or having other straight men/women stuck) in the presence of the same sex, who are looking at them as a man would a woman in a straight relationship.

p.s. Yes, captiva, it is hypocrisy, I'm not shy at saying I'm a hypocrite with some opinions, everyone is a hypocrite is some way or another, just many don't admit to it.

so true lol.....

The oath to serve my country as a soldier did not include a contract for the normal luxuries and comfort enjoyed within our society. On the contrary it implied hardship, loyalty and devotion to duty regardless of rank.

Did I ask for Congress's opinion? No. I asked for pixiedustboo's. Did I ask for YOUR opinion? NO. I asked for pixiedustboo's.

Try to read the posts, Chukpike.

You can buy any "schitk" you like... But no, the reason I quoted Jesus is because the quotes apply to my argument of not judging and condemning because NO ONE IS PERFECT. Even you, 03... *gasp*

And, by the way, it's you're (but don't worry, it's one of the top 3 most commonly f**ked up spellings on the internet. )

Pixie... Well, I'm glad you can at least admit your hypocrisy. The rest of the folks on here seem to think that they're taking the moral high road here. I'm glad you realize that your line of thinking really isn't fair to homosexuals.

Obviously jesus never read "the bobble" then, it's full of judgements and recriminations. Yeah,... another of those little anomalies

Fair,... fair he says.... how can you possibly be "fair" to everyone, especially to groups with opposing outlooks, someone has to lose out. The best we mere mortals can aspire to, is to be fair to the majority,...

I don't mind debating this stupidity, but at least use some logic when you make a post.

Look for this to get pressed hard now. Maine voted down the same sex marriage referendum yesterday. That makes 31 states that have voted it down when left to popular vote. They really need this don't ask don't tell to go away to further their bigger agenda.

BTW Rob I know I'm not perfect. GASP How bout you oh enlightened one of all that is good and pure.
