| The fire is everything... ![]() | I have heard some rumors from the "good old parade days", that several of the units did infact parade across the Red Square up to 2-3 times on the same day. To make the impression that the (parade ready) Army was a lot bigger than it actually was... Anyone else heard about this?? |

| Milforum Chaplain | I have heard that too but can't remember the source. Mussolini did that sort of thing as well to impress Hitler on Hitler's visit to Piazza Venezia, Rome. Wonder if it made Hitler think Mussolini was militarily stronger than he really was? |
