Discharge Records info

I got a copy of my Grandfathers paper. It gives some information I didn't have. Nice to have for sure. I will go back and get my Great Uncles next
he lived in a different county so I will have to go to another Court House.

I am going to contact St Louis archives to see if they can give me a more
detailed description about the 5 Bronze Stars he recieved while in the Army.

Is it still possible to find out what the medals were awarded for?

I heard that you can get detailed information about medals or awards, ribbons
that were given. Also the items can be sent to you if they have not already
recieved them. This is all heresay though!

What I know for sure is that the source was right about the discharge papers
that i got in Iowa for my Grandfather.
