The new Danish Documentary "Armadillo", set for premiere in theaters in Denmark on the 27th of May, has stirred up the debate about Danish soldiers in Afghan.
The danish parliament is split between the left wing parties arguing that danish soldiers are committing war crimes while the right wing argues that the movie shows the heroic actions of danish soldiers fighting in Afghan.

The plot seems to be kinda threadbare, but i like the way camera-man works. Also, it's not that often when Europe releases some 'tough' war films. Personally i think it's worth seeing.

Hello KV

Have you seen this documentary?

I saw a ghost behind the door, when the kids were coming home from the war, with broken dreams and nothing more!

Yes I have. Went the day after it opened in theatres.

It doesn't really show anything you haven't seen before in so many documentaries before in my opinion. I liked it, but I don't see the reason why it is stirring up the debate or why it won the Critics Award to be honest.

I do think it is a movie worth seing if you are a bit interested in the whole Afghan conflict though.

I hope it is released with English sub titles.
I would like to see it very much, and would probably go to see it even without the sub titles. We need more movies of this type to show these, "piss vinegar" war gamers what the real cost of war is to those who feature at the sharp end.
