Post; I could use some help with "Red Dots"

Hello guys!
I wanted to get an red dot for my rifle, but I have NO knowledge about this equipment.

I've seen RD for $9 up to $500....I got confused with such a difference between the prices..

Could you guys recomend me some good price/quality Red Dots? I'm not looking for something fancy...just a reliable aiming mechanism and something that won't break like a toy.

Tks for the help.

I've used Aimpoint products in the worst possible environments and they have never let me down. Comp M2 all the way! I'm also a big EoTech fan, but I've had them run out of battery power at the wrong moment before. Aimpoint battery life is legendary.

Go aimpoint, Swedish quality through and through.
Depending on rifle IŽd say for hunting the 7000 would be a good fit for you.

Always did like the aimpoint; never could afford one, though.
