Hello, I am Claymore. I am 33 yrs old and was 4F due to a childhood accident. I tried to join the Marines but could not pass the physical.
My grandfather served in the 42nd Highland regiment of Canada ( The Canadien Black Watch) and was wounded at Dieppe and Normandy. I am told that my Great-Grandfather served in the Scottish Black Watch and was killed at Verdun (I haven't seen any papers substantiating this).
I am very interested in Military History (Particularily Civil War and WWII eras) and all things Scottish. And yes, I love the pipes!
