Houston Chronicle

WICHITA FALLS — Sheppard Air Force Base officials are investigating allegations that some officers in the pilot training program cheated.
An investigation started Nov. 3 into possible academic misconduct by officers from the 80th Flying Training Wing, the base's public affairs office confirmed.
A spokesman, Maj. Michael Young, said he could not provide details, such as how many officers may have been involved or their ranks, what offenses they were accused of and how the incident was discovered. Such inquiries usually take about two weeks before details are known, Young said.
The Office of Special Investigations would not comment. The 80th Flying Training Wing conducts the Euro-NATO Joint Jet Pilot Training Program, the world's only internationally manned and managed undergraduate pilot training program. Thirteen NATO nations participate, according to the base's Web site.
