It sounds like a big lie to me. Why would they try to invade the only superpower when they can invade all Asia?

If you think that Chinese can't speak english as you can or find good translators then I wonder if you know chinese.

But there is no doubt that China has an eye on the US and western Europe not necessary militarily but mostly economically.

Secondly, China knows that if any conflicts happen, its economy will be in ruins. They never risk that!

Pho, the comment about the english is that this article, aka "speech", is in a second language and it is far too polished and far too colloquial for something coming from an L2 upper level party member as they don't allow anyone but the most senior of the leadership to address issues like this one.

It is a nice piece of yellow journalism, Hearst would be proud, meant to incite less than intelligent folk of the US into some sort of anti-Chinese furour. It was exactly this sort of post on a couple websites in Singapore that led to them trying two people for sedition and closing down numerous websites.

I guess I am not being clear enough about the translation. IF this is an accurate translation then the person who wrote this speech is most definitely NOT Chinese. IF it is an inaccurate translation then it cannot be reliable in its content. In either case its bogus.

The Epoch Times is a media organization dedicated to making Communist China look bad in every way possible. This is what is known as an extreme media bias. I have never trusted websites and media outlets with such bias. That would be like believing every article by moveon.org.

Unless there is a non biased website that will carry this story, I am joining the ranks that call this story a farse.

You all missed a couple vital points in summing up:
1.) China is the TRUE master race and will succeed where Nazi Germany failed.
2.) China will succeed because its culture is the oldest and it is bigger than Nazi Germany in population and land mass.
3.) Their other big advantage is Atheism ...
4.) China will become the central culture of the world because it is their divine right.
5.) PRC leaders are racists and bigots.
6.) This person needs to check back with a little thing that I like to call "Reality".
7.) 70% of People in China favor shooting POW's, women and children. (not sure what the circumstances were for that.)
8.) With speeches like this one, China is guaranteed to keep the rest of the world extremely paranoid and wary of them, negating any chance they would have had to take over the world or whatever else.
9.) China would be flat out stupid to publish such drivel, so I think its a fake.

I don't give a damn. COMMUNIST CHINA is a threat to the United States of America and the rest of the free world. They are BAD! Country bashing or not. The People's Republic of China is a big problem.
