| Immunes | Post; Can a Marine be called a soldier???After a talk with a person from this site. Can you call a Marine a soldier or do you have to call him a Marine??? I mean that when talking abotu being one. i said i want to be a simple foot soldier in the Marines he said i could because Marines are not soldiers. |

| Tribuni Angusticlavii | One CAN call him a soldier, but he probably wouldn't appreciate it. A Marine doesn't go through Marine Corps Boot Camp at a Marine Corps Recruit Depot to earn the title of Soldier. He does it to earn the title of MARINE! -Semper Fidelis sir. |
