It's hard to appriciate how long it really was from the front. From the back you could tell my hair basically exeeded the lenth of my neck.
I went with this ex-co worker and friend of this graduate student I knew in university (both women) and she actually bought me a hat fearing the worst. She also took the photos. But after the cut she said it wasn't as bad as she thought and I just looked weirder wearing a hat.

Anyways it was nice of her. I had a good time hanging out and it's probably something I needed before heading off into an institution full of sexually deprived males.

Oh and the Aston Villa shirt. What happens when you got a great friend who's an Aston Villa fan and also a talented salesman? Yes. He's converted half of everyone he's related to as well.

I got to go to two Aston Villa matches last month... Villa lost both. 5-1 to Spurs away and 2-1 to Manchester City at home. ARRRGGHHH

Obviously the haircut was a prep for the Marines.
Often the guys who cut you in the military for free have no idea what they're doing and you shouldn't be surprised if your scalp is bleeding when they're done with u if u walked in with rather long hair like I did.
