I just want to add my two cents...I kinda like the Latin ranks...It makes me sound alot more important than I really am...I mean seriously, First Lieutenant(thats right, got promoted again!) or Primus Pilus? For those who choose First Lieutenant, SHUT UP! haha..I dunno, it depends on what Redleg comes out with to replace them...Redleg looks kinda partial to Latin cause look at his rank...it was Latin(i think) even before Latin ranks...like i said, depends on what Redleg comes up with. I have no doubt that it will be good.

By the way, thanks for that little history lesson Fox, I notice that I am among the senior officers..haha. course i am the lowest senior...oh well.

Even in the active duty military as a Corporal my boots have more time in service than a 1st Lt in most cases. (It is an enlisted joke and I am sure many of the officers have heard this same joke so I hope they won't be too offended).

There isn't any language called Roman. It's Latin and if it wasn't for Latin, we would never have English.

Yea i know...but cadets are a little different...Officers had to have had more experience...Besides, Primus Pilus still sounds better. haha. I dont care, I just wanna be fairly ranked. I could give a wether or not I can read it, as long as the scale shows that I have been a very active member of this forum since my joining.(barely 6 months)

Just because you're typing your PREFERRED LANGUAGE in really big letters, it doesn't make your opinion any more valid to the mods than anyone else's.

Either way, I prefer these ranks that were used by the Roman Army and are written in the Latin language

I don't, and I expect that I am not the only one that would like the ranks to be something I can understand. (I don't speak Latin and have no desire to learn how).
