books suggestion info

Hello group,

I am looking to buy two books with a specific subject, that is why I am asking for your help. I wonder if you are kind enough to propose me some books that you thing they would cover my specific interests. The subjects of the two books I am looking for, are the following:

 Encyclopedia of Warships WW1 and WW2, with diagrams and pictures for all warships and technical information’s about them.

 A guide book that will analyse major importance battles through the ages with detailed maps (3D if possible) and tactic analysis. You can propose me more than one book to cover major war periods such as WW2, WW1…etc.

Thank you in advance.

Kind Regards

gerolykos

Have a look at
http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/su...156265-0524809

http://www.abebooks.co.uk/?cm_ven=gg...s&cm_ite=books

you can do searches there and you should find something like what you want.

Ive got books like 'warships' but they dont specify specific eras.

I found an interesting iPad book application named Frozen Hell. It's about the dramatic early battles of the Second Word War between the Soviet Union and Finland. This interactive book includes e.g. over 70 photographs and about 30 minutes film material.

kaarle's ROZEN HELL reminds me of WHEN HELL FROZE OVER, by E.M. Halliday. US Forces in N. Russian in 1918-19.
