Post; One asteric or two?

Ten seconds after the ball cleared the outfield fence, the debate as to whether there will be one asteric or two asterics next to his record in the record books, was off and running.

Here we are, almost two full days after the record breaking run was hit and the argument hasn't even slowed down - 24/7 discussions and action shots of the home run, along with continuous opinions from every two bit expert (and those who don't know a squeeze play from a tube of tooth paste), and still no concensus.

PERSONALLY, I AM IN FAVOR OF TWO ASTERICS - after all, IT WAS A HOME RUN RECORD THAT STOOD FOR 33 YEARS.

I can see it now ... two silver asterics next to the record in Cooperstown, with a footnote stating this record was accomplished through the miracle of chemistry.
