Boeing won an Air Force contract valued at up to $1.3 billion to enhance the C-17 cargo aircraft fleet.
The award to Boeing's McDonnell Douglas unit covers C-17 design, development and improvement work over the next five years, the Defense Department said. To date, $13.6 million in work has been awarded under the contract.
