the latter was said by the french about this Regiment.



these three men of this regiment decimated a german patrol of 50 men, and were three out of 10 soldiers in the whole regiment to be awarded the VC. the regiment's exploits in WW2 can be seen on a film called "To End All Wars" starring Robert Carlyle and Kiefer Sutherland.

this was the first kilted regiment in the British Army, and is one of the most decorated regiments in Europe, and most probably the world. it's right up there with the 101st airborne, the 4th Recon marines, etc.
