Post; Black Hawk Question

Odd question I got from watching Black Hawk Down:

How do the men stay in the Black Hawk when it's turning? Are there handles to hang on to, or are they strapped in?

Some are strapped in, that is correct. The benches on Little Birds also have belts. AT least, that is my knowledge. The operators have to have SOME way of not getting thrown out when the helo is banking, descending, etc.

Liquid nails, but mostly you just pucker your fourth point and that sucks you against the floor.

Handles, yes. Or sling ropes snap linked to a D-ring on the bird. It helps if you can have one line attached to the pilot's balls for little birds.
