Well i am a mechanic now and i just don't belong in customer service or behind a desk. This may sound silly to some but I want to know i tried my best to make a difference in the world, not just be a mindless consumer who has a kid at thirty and waits for retirement (ugh children blah). I also want to be a warrior for my country not a paper pusher.

I had a numbnut bring in his 9mm Para Lorcin for repair, he had loaded the rounds in his magazine back to front. I kid you not. He then tried to rack a round into the chamber which he did, "BACKWARDS" and jammed the lot up. The Lorcin doesnt have a slide hold open so I had to keep the slide open with a piece of wood, then very carefully jammed a sharp screwdriver into the side of the jammed round, then levered it out that way. He was an Affirmative Action Security guard who had absolutely no firearm training whatsoever. Scarey

Yeah, that's exactly how it goes...

Then we pray to the boom gods afterwards and make all the privates do BOOM checks in the barrels.

Never got caught with the boom checks...the only time I got hammered was from a prc e6...yeah...figured that one out as soon as I said it..

Oh and to be a gunner again, now I'm gettin all nostalgic and such. To the boom gods i must go!
