| Milforum's Postmaster | Post; Battelle Wins Work At Fort DetrickWashington Post November 9, 2007 Pg. D4 Battelle Memorial Institute says it won a $257 million, 10-year contract to run a biological defense laboratory at Fort Detrick in Frederick. Battelle said it will provide up to 119 scientists and technicians to staff the facility planned by the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases. The lab is to open in fall 2008.
