| Milforum's Postmaster | Post; Barbaro keeps getting betterAssociated Press KENNETT SQUARE, Pa. - Barbaro's right hind leg is improving and a cast has been placed on the Kentucky Derby winner's laminitis-stricken left hind foot to help realign a bone. "This cast was applied with the goal of starting to help realign his coffin bone properly in that foot," Dean Richardson, chief surgeon at the New Bolton Center, said Tuesday. "His comfort on that foot has been good since the procedure." Richardson also said that tests on Barbaro's right hind leg showed improved alignment and continued healing. |
