Balls of steel info
This is a scene on the street in Iraq just as a bomb went off. People are reacting to it... notice the troop from the 82nd and where the little boy ducks for cover. These people need us. Pulling out now would be the height of irresponsibility. They aren't equipped to deal with their reality.
"The purpose of fighting is to win. There is no possible victory in defense. The sword is more important than the shield and skill is more important than either. The final weapon is the brain. All else is supplemental." - John Steinbeck

We do have a moral responsibility to carry our work through in Iraq and Afghanistan, but I find it really hard to believe the US would ever degenerate to such a state of disorder, unless the world runs out of oil a lot sooner than we think.
"Mankind, when left to themselves, are unfit for their own government." - George Washington

Yeah let's not forget that that reality they are facing now in Iraq and Afghanistan has been from the past 3 decades of foreign countries messing with them including the US.
I love how people like to forget about how the Clinton administration created the problem in Afghanistan. After the Russians pulled out, so did the US involvement leaving their creation rise up, the Taliban.
