| Forum Health Inspector | Watching that video again, I noticed a few things: 1. The Skyhawk pilot sees the bomb coming toward him and tried to evade, but there just wasn't enough time. 2. As this was during a test, I don't think airframe maintenance was the issue here. From the looks of it, the bomb didn't separate from the ejector rack; rather, the bomb AND the ejector rack came off the hardpoint, which is what caused the funky aerodynamics that caused the assembly to flutter into the Skyhawk. 3. The announcer needed to lay off the drama. |
