Any idea?

Hello all. I recently bought some shell cases at auction which I easily identified but this pair is a mystery.

About 165mm (6.5") long, 40mm calibre for the back half and about 38mm at the front. Some numbers and what appears to be Cyrillic characters surrounding the percussion caps as seen in the photos.

Any help would be much appreciated........

They look at bit like the Hotchkiss 37x94R or Vickers 1 pounder rounds.

Thanks montyB, a quick search on your thoughts has shown a likely candidate to be a Mk I steel shell made from 1902. But the Cyrillic letters are still a bit of a mystery.........
