BAGHDAD, Iraq_A U.S. sailor assigned to the Marines died after being wounded
in Iraq's restive Anbar province, the U.S. military command said Sunday.
The sailor, who was assigned to the 1st Marine Logistics Group, died
Saturday "form wounds sustained by enemy action," the military said in a
statement.
No further details were available, and the military did not release the name
of the sailor pending notification of next of kin.
