Q2- TIME OF FLIGHT

The amount of time, generally given in seconds.that it takes an artillery projectile or Naval rifle projectile to impact the target area after being fired from the weapon.
The time is computed by the Fire Direction Control (Arty FDC) or Combat Control Center (CCC Naval Vessel ) and relayed to the spotter as thus.

"Time of Flight 2-5."

I however prefer to also request "Splash"

Yeah, but Splash works better with Naval in my opinion since that time of flight can be soooooooo long. But it isn't bad with std arty since you don't need to remember the ToF and if you are in an active situation, at least you can move and stay out of the impact zone.
