Today, December 4., is the biggest day of the year for all artillerymen/women worldwide.
The Saint Barbara celebration has been a tradition for the artillery since around year 1400

Thank you Redleg as I am a member of the Order of Saint Barbara here in the US Army and my wife is part of the Order of Molly Pitcher. That is something that each and every Redleg wants before his time in the Artillery passes.

And of course, there is a nice little statue of Santa Barbara that we purchased at the Vatican sitting on our mantle.
