AP - British actress Deborah Kerr, who shared one of cinema's most famous kisses with Burt Lancaster in "From Here to Eternity," has died, her agent said Thursday. She was 86.

I'm sad to hear it.

I used to see her regularly and occasionally speak, when she was at Corunna Station in South Australia filming "Robbery under Arms". It was 1960 and I was 13, I thought she was the most glamorous person in the world.
