has anybody read this book?
by Dr David killcullen ?
it is a popularized thesis on the war on terror and counter insurgency, he was a former Aussie army officer later he worked for australia office of national assessments (ONA) then became senior adviser to general petraeus and Cornelia rice on the subject of counter insurgency.
and he was also the first foreigner to get the highest level of security clearance in the US
i really enjoyed it...
you know what there is probably already a thread on it... or not..
should of checked before posting...

The oath to serve my country as a soldier did not include a contract for the normal luxuries and comfort enjoyed within our society. On the contrary it implied hardship, loyalty and devotion to duty regardless of rank.
