Yes it's usually those types that screw up most.
Korea's dealing with that right now.

Aznar was a capable PM. A good leader. Perhaps the Moroccans chose the date because they knew it would get rid of Aznar and put in place an incompetent party and candidate who had big promises and no plans.

It was really the day Spain lost. They crumbled to the wishes of the terrorists, withdrew from the effort to try to make Iraq a better place and told the terrorists that their methods will work a charm in Europe (which is a major fighting ground between the West and the Islamic Extremists).

I think what we all need to learn is how to react to these incidents.
